Mandolin Resort at Alexandra Headland is well situated for some of the best golfing on the Sunshine Coast. There are plenty of world class courses in the area and with our beautiful sunny days and relaxed atmosphere, a Sunshine Coast Golfing getaway might just be the ticket to a wonderful break away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

So if you are ready to book yourself a golf weekend getaway, here is a quick overview of our fabulous Sunshine Coast golf courses.

Headland Golf Club: This 18 hole, par 72, 50 year old course is a classic, full of old world charm, one of the best clubhouses around, and a course loved by kangaroos, koalas and lots of bird life.

Chancellor Park: Located at Sippy Downs (11km south-west), this golf driving range and baseball batting park is an all-weather range which will give everyone in the family hours of fun and exercise.

Horton Golf Club: One of the best courses on the Coast, this club will soon be on the move from Maroochydore to Bli Bli - and will still only be 10 minutes away from Mandolin Resort.

Twin Waters: This is a challenging 18 hole, world class course in a beautiful bushland setting with rolling fairways and grassy mounds and hollows.

Pelican Waters: Designed by Greg Norman, this 18 hole course (2 loops of 9) is set in spectacular scenery and offers a testing day to even the best golfers (look out for the 5th).

Nambour Golf Club: The tropical setting of this fabulous course is an unsung gem, with elevated tees and long sweeping greens. This is a golfing experience not to be missed.

Noosa Springs Golf: Rated one of the best in Australia with 18 holes meandering through lush rainforest and 10 freshwater lakes. There are lots of kangaroos and native wildlife, but an immaculate course to play any time of the year.

Tewantin Noosa Golf Club: Not as challenging as some of the other courses on the Sunshine Coast, it still has some excellent green complexes and is set in lovely bushland with lots of access and an easy walk.

Palmer Coolum Golf Course: A stunning 18 hole course, with lakeside shots and manicured fairways, set in native bushland. The course is in good shape and the greens run true, a challenging course and watch out for the back nine!

Take a break and treat yourself to a golfing weekend getaway, staying in our high-quality, family holiday apartments with beautiful views over the Pacific Ocean, and directly across from Alexandra beach.
